I picked up a guitar for the first time in college and have never been able to put it down. Sound Production has always been my job in the music industry. I've worked with everyone from Garage Bands to Grammy Award Winners. And although I loved working with all of the bands, something was missing... Until now. Those late nights on the road, in bars, and on tour buses actually brought several of my songs to life.
I would like to thank Kevin of "Jackson County Line" for starting it all. He gave me a job running sound for his college band. I'm still waiting for my first paycheck but what he taught me about pure heart and determination in this industry are priceless. My Aunt and Uncle for buying me my first guitar. Jamie taught me more than I'll ever remember about this box with 6 strings. Many other life long friends JC, Hatch, and others (you know who you are) were definitely my sounding boards for different ideas for songs and teachers about this industry. Ferrell for allowing me to work with him and meet all of the people I have throughout this journey. My daughter for inspiring several songs along the way. My Wife and new family for putting up with my late nights, my music gear left all over the house, and their continued support and understanding as I babble on continuously about music. And last but definitely not least, Shannon for pushing me, and not letting me walk away before I ever even started. And anyone else who has ever sat around the campfire and listened to my songs, Thanks. I know I'm missing a ton of folks, but you all know what you mean to me, and as the Grateful Dead once said "What a long strange trip it's been." Now let this new journey begin.
